The Young and the Restless alum Sean Patrick Flanery is set to star in a brand new film, Assault On VA-33!
The indie action thriller, from director Christopher Ray, follows decorated veteran and PTSD sufferer, Jason Hill (Flanery), who gets involved in a hostage situation at the Veteran’s Affairs hospital. Jason has to take charge as he deals with his own internal demons while trying to save everyone including himself and his wife from the armed terrorists.
Flanery will star alongside Abigail Hawk (Blue Bloods), Weston Cage Coppola (Circus Kane), Mark Dacascos (John Wick 3: Parabellum) and Michael Jai White (Spawn).
Soap fans may recognize Sean from his time on The Young and the Restless where he played Sam Gibson. Sam was a love interest for Sharon Newman while she was on the run after being accused of Skye Newman’s murder. More recently, he has played the gruff Ty Garrett on Amazon’s The Bay. A role that earned him a Daytime Emmy for Outstanding Guest Performer in a Digital Daytime Drama Series in 2019!
