Jack leaves a voicemail for Traci, inquiring about Ashley. As he departs from the office, he opens the door and inadvertently catches Nikki as she stumbles into his arms. Nikki expresses remorse, admitting that she didn’t know where else to turn. In an inebriated state, she utilized a ride-share service to avoid potential exposure to Victor. Nikki explains that she was managing until she learned about the significant fire at Jordan’s penitentiary. She frets that Jordan may have escaped and poses a threat to her. Jack reassures her that the likelihood of Jordan eluding capture is minimal and suggests they attend a meeting together.
Victor is upset while speaking on the phone, insisting on obtaining information about the situation concerning Jordan.
Nikki and Jack attend a meeting, where Nikki she mentions having moments of self-doubt. However, she draws strength from her past victories and resolves to confront the challenges imposed by her disease. She remains steadfast in her belief in victory. Subsequently, they proceed to Nikki’s office, where she expresses gratitude to Jack for his unwavering support. As Jack prepares to leave, Victor enters, expressing curiosity regarding the situation.

Daniel is deep in thought when Lucy approaches, seeking his attention. He insists that he is busy with a deadline, but she observes that he was staring into space, indicating that he is not truly occupied. She inquires about the cause of his apparent grumpiness and points out that she doesn’t have school today as she reminds him that he was supposed to take her to the gallery show, which he had evidently forgot. She even checked with her mother to see if she could join them, but her mother advised her to check with him.
As Heather stops by, Lucy notices a change in her parents’ behavior, despite them insisting that everything is fine. Heather claims she came to discuss work privately with Daniel. While they talk about their situation, Lucy eavesdrops. Heather expresses discomfort with pretending that nothing is going on between them. She mentions that the lost enough time and doesn’t want to lose anymore.
Daniel admits feeling that the timing is not right to tell Lily. Heather expresses concern about the wait, but he asks for her patience. As they kiss, Heather pleads with him not to delay too long. Lucy, who has been eavesdropping, is caught as the door gives her away. Lucy rejoices at the prospect of them getting back together. Daniel explains that it is not an ideal situation, emphasizing the need to wait until he could speak to Lily about it.

Tucker is in his suite when he places a call to Ashley and proceeds to leave a voicemail, expressing that he knows where she is and what she’s doing. Later, downstairs, Tucker encounters Kyle, who bluntly instructs him to go away. Tucker refuses and Kyle queries him about Glacade.
Kyle admits that his emotions led him to align with Tucker and Audra previously, but he has since learned from his mistake and now knows the importance of family. Kyle asserts that Glacade is destined to meet its demise, much like everything else in Tucker’s life. In response, Tucker criticizes Kyle for his self-righteousness and discloses that he was overlooked for the position of the company’s second-in-command for the second time. Tucker talks about Diane’s promotion to the role of Co-CEO despite her lack of experience. Kyle reveals that he was the one who recommended his mother for the position. Tucker then informs Kyle that he will consistently dwell in his father’s shadow until he takes decisive action.
Ashley and Traci arrive at the Bistro in Paris. She appears troubled by the memories, prompting Traci to inquire if she is certain about proceeding. Ashley maintains that it is imperative for her to get proof. Traci reassures her support. She emphasizes her commitment to providing whatever assistance Ashley needs. Ashley expresses her gratitude for Traci’s presence, as she intends for her to serve as a witness while she validates her account of events. Ashley receives a voicemail from Tucker and Traci proposes postponing the quest for answers, but Ashley insists that she has already delayed this for too long.

Ashley approaches the waiter at the Bistro and inquires if he recollects anything from the day she and Tucker visited. The waiter recalls a gentleman who displayed noticeable anger and raised his voice multiple times, expressing sympathy for Ashley based on the man’s behavior. Ashley recounts Tucker’s actions, including throwing a glass and tossing a chair, but the waiter claims no recollection of that aspect. Despite Ashley’s doubts, the waiter is resolute in his account. Upon the waiter’s departure, Ashley asserts to Traci that she accurately remembers what transpired. She suspects Tucker may have influenced the waiter and accuses him of bribery. When she confronts the waiter about this, he staunchly maintains that he spoke nothing but the truth. Although Traci suggests they leave, Ashley insists on being alone and departs.

Later, Ashley gives Tucker a call and goes, “You bastard.” She straight up tells him that he’s the most awful person she’s ever come across. She accuses him totally paying off the waiter but Tucker insists that is not the case. He tells her that she is totally remembering it wrong. She thinks he is trying to mess with her head and insists that she is not delusional. Meanwhile, Traci tries to get a hold of Jack, but ends up leaving a voicemail detailing everything that went down in Paris.
