Nick Gives Phyllis a Warning
Phyllis (Michelle Stafford) is hell-bent on finding Matt Clark (Roger Howarth)—no matter what has happened to him! So far, she has tried digging for answers from the Newmans with no luck. Still, giving up isn’t in Phyllis’ nature, and there is at least one other Newman she can turn to: Nick (Joshua Morrow).
To that end, she pays Nick a visit at his rehab facility, trying her best to sell it as a supportive pop-in to check on his recovery progress. But Nick knows her way too well for that. He immediately sees right through the act and realizes she is strictly there to source intel about Matt.
Phyllis truly believes in Matt and sees a side of him that no one else does. She’s even partnering with him to run Arabesque because she honestly thinks he is trying to turn his life around. However, Nick doesn’t view things through those same rose-colored glasses, and he is set to hand Phyllis a chilling warning.
Victor Offers His Blessing
While that tense confrontation plays out, Victoria (Amelia Heinle) is getting her father’s blessing to go after Jabot. Victor (Eric Braeden) has never been a fan of the Abbotts—particularly Jack (Peter Bergman) and “Billy Boy” (Jason Thompson)—so when it comes to hitting them where it hurts, he is all on board.
