Will Phyllis Cause Trouble?
First up on The Young and the Restless, guests are finally arriving at the Jazz Lounge for the big Abbott Communications launch party.
Phyllis (Michelle Stafford) is stationed at the entrance with Tessa (Cait Fairbanks) and Daniel (Michael Graziadei), insisting—of course—that she was right and the night is going to be fun.
Daniel isn’t quite ready to slap a label on it yet, but before he can react, Phyllis slips off her glasses and spots Cane (Billy Flynn) sitting with Lily(Christel Khalil). And just like that, that familiar spark lights up her eyes. Is Phyllis about to stir the pot? Because it sure looks like trouble is calling her name.
Sally Gives Her Speech
Inside, Sally (Courtney Hope) steps up and delivers her speech as the room fills. She promises the company’s allegiance will always be to the people who rely on them for facts, truth, and transparency.
But the applause barely lands before Jack (Peter Bergman) checks his phone and blurts out, “What the hell!” He immediately shows it to Diane (Susan Walters), and her response—an instant, alarmed “No”—isn’t exactly comforting.
What did he see? Is Abbott Communications already facing trouble before the ink on the launch banners even dries? Or is something entirely different about to crash their big night?
Matt Comes to Genoa City
And elsewhere in Genoa City, a shadow from the past is back. Matt Clark (Roger Howarth) makes his arrival, and he’s not alone. That dirty detective Annie (Catherine Kresge) is right beside him, and she gives him an update.
She tells him that Noah (Lucas Adams) has Sienna (Tamara Braun) tucked away in a suite at the GCAC. Matt, cold as ever, says he doesn’t care how difficult it is; Annie needs to “take care of” Sienna. Clearly, these two have something up their sleeves… and whatever it is, it can’t be good.
