Y&R Recap February 2, 2024! Today on The Young and the Restless – Victor busts Jack and Nikki, Billy comforts Chelsea, and Sally surprises Adam.

When Victor unexpectedly walks in on Jack and Nikki alone in her office, he becomes curious and questions Jack about the reason for his presence. Nikki tries to explain, but Jack intervenes and lies to Victor, saying that he had run into her at an AA meeting. Victor, surprised, asks Jack how he had ended up at the same meeting as his wife. Jack reminds Victor of his own past struggles with addiction, and Victor seems to understand.
After this, Victor approaches Nikki and asks what has been bothering her. She explains that she knows that there was a fire at Jordan’s prison. Nikki wonders if Jordan started the fire as a way to escape. However, Victor promises that if Jordan tries to do any harm to her or their family, she will not live to regret it. After discussing the situation, Victor leaves Nikki to deal with her workload, as she mentions how much work she has to do since Audra left.
While Victor is off to his office sorting things out to keep his wife safe, she’s stuck in her office trying to keep it together. And just when she thought things couldn’t get crazier, she gets a call from an unknown number.
Y&R RECAP: Jack Learns About Ashley!
Jack goes to Jabot and informs Diane that Victor caught him and Nikki together, and he wasn’t pleased. He tells Diane that he lied to Victor, saying he saw Nikki at an AA meeting and followed her back to her office. Jack fears that keeping this a secret from Victor will cause problems for Nikki. However, Nikki insists on keeping it a secret to avoid appearing weak or letting Victor down.
Diane worries that the battle between Jack and Victor could reignite if the truth comes out. Later, Jack takes out his phone to check on Nikki, but he gets a voicemail from Traci, and he is taken aback as she explains what happened in Paris. Diane suggests that either of two things happened; Ashley is misremembering or Tucker paid off the waiter to back him up. Jack calls Traci, who confirms that Ashley needs time to process things. Traci assures Jack that she will protect their sister and do some investigations of her own.
Billy’s seated with Chelsea at Crimson Lights, chatting about Connor and how his grades are going downhill. Chelsea notes that she had a chat with the headmaster and advisor, and they reckon Connor might have a learning difference. After a lot of back and forth about parenting, Chelsea tells Billy that he’s good for her, but Billy quickly corrects her, noting that they’re good for each other.
Y&R RECAP: Sally Surprises Adam!
Adam and Sally are at Society, talking about Connor. Adam expresses that he feels like Connor opens up more to Chelsea than him. He adds that he reached out to her first before even calling him. Sally quickly encourages him not to overthink thing. She notes that Connor loves him and he is just laying low rather than shutting him out. Adam gets all guilty about not being around much but Sally reminds him that he is wonderful father as she sings his praises.
Tucker is in his suite when Audra knocks on his door. He initially tries to ignore her, but she persists. When he finally answers, she asks him what’s wrong. He tells her that he’s not prepared to discuss anything at the moment. Audra thinks that it’s about Ashley again, but Tucker doesn’t confirm or deny it. He then reveals to Audra that Ashley has returned to Paris and confirmed his version of events. Ashley called him to accuse him of paying off the waiter. Audra thinks that Ashley will always have a hold on Tucker because he can’t seem to get her out of his mind. This leads to some heated bickering between them about Ashley and Tucker’s feelings for her. Audra tells him that he should find someone else to be with instead of stringing along while he pines for Ashley.

Audra’s totally fed up and about to leave. Tucker then stops her and tells her he meant every word she said. He just keeps ranting about Ashley, and Audra tells him to stop. She demands that he makes a choice, either ditch Ashley for good, or he will never see her again. Tucker then reminds her that he doesn’t take well to ultimatums. Audra persists that he needs to make a darn choice and he kisses her, they make love, and after, he tells her that he chooses her.
