Y&R Recap March 7, 2024: Today on The Young and the Restless – Jack worries about Ashley’s sate of mind, Devon makes a promise to Abby, and Jordan targets Victoria.
Young and Restless (Y&R) Recap March 7, 2024:
Victoria is totally shocked when she arrives at the scene and sees her house on fire. The firefighters are giving it their all, but it seems like there’s nothing they can do. All they can do now is make sure it doesn’t spread to the woods. Victoria is in tears, saying, “This can’t be happening.” The firefighter tells her and her dad that it’s not safe to be there, and they’ve got to leave.
Claire Helps Nikki!
Meanwhile, at the Ranch, Claire and Nikki figure out that this fire must be Jordan’s doing. She really seems to have a thing for fire, huh? Claire mentions how the second her aunt found out that she and Victoria were in that house, she couldn’t wait to light a match and burn it to the ground.
Nikki is relieved that they weren’t actually in the house. Victor calls Nikki, telling her that the house is burning down, and Victoria is devastated, so they’re on their way back home. Nikki is a wreck, and she says she can’t handle it anymore. Claire asks how she can help, and Nikki asks her to tell her something funny, something to distract her.
Claire tells her about the little girl, Nadia, at Memorial. After the story, Nikki suggests that Claire could work with kids. But with her background, Claire doesn’t think she can. Nikki reassures her that she can and that she has the best references—she’s family—and they will vouch for her and tell anyone how special she is. Nikki promises to find a way to make it happen. Claire adds that nothing can happen until her aunt is locked away forever; then her new life can begin.

Later, Victoria and Victor get back home. Victoria’s in tears, saying all her family photos, keepsakes, and everything got wrecked in the fire. Nikki understands the pain but is relieved everyone’s safe. Victor adds that they all know who’s to blame.
Nikki says she wants to tear her apart, limb by limb, for what she’s done to her family. Claire’s notes that she knows her aunt pretty well, and she’s always super careful, but her recent actions scream desperation. It seems like she’s got nothing left to lose, or she’s just getting sloppy.
Nikki thinks they got to crank up the heat on Jordan. She’s all about taking it to the press, but they’re not feeling it. Victor’s dead set on talking Jordan into meeting with him, and he promises to not let her get the upper hand.
Young and Restless (Y&R) Recap March 7, 2024:
Over at the mansion, Jack saunters downstairs and finds Ashley still up. He inquires why she is up and she tells him about her weird dream. She felt like she was in some kind of alternate reality. So then he questions if she really wants to cut Tucker out of her life. She says she is not sure, sometimes she does and sometimes she doesn’t.
Jack asks how can he help her break this cycle and Ashley tells him she needs to figure it out on her own. But then Jack reminds her she’s not alone and suggests she let him and Traci help her out. He tells her to call her psychiatrist friend in Paris. Jack heads to the kitchen to get them some late night snack while Ashley calls her friend and gets voicemail.
When Jack returns, she tells him that she needs some fresh air, but will be back for the snacks. Then Diane shows up, and they have this heart-to-heart about Ashley and stuff. Nikki calls Jack for help, and Diane promises to wait up for him as he heads out.
Young and Restless (Y&R) Recap March 7, 2024:
Tucker’s in his suite when there’s a knock on the door. Lo and behold, it’s Abby, coming in hot with questions about his little game with her mom. She’s giving him a serious talking-to about how he’s been treating her mom, and she’s not letting up until she knows the whole story.
Tucker’s playing all innocent, but Abby’s not having it. He ultimately acknowledges his uncertainty regarding the situation with Ashley. She came back from Paris, backed up his story, but now he’s thinking she’s trying to set him up for something. Still, he notes that he doesn’t care and has moved on.
Abby Tells Tucker to Leave for Good!
Abby spots the suitcase on the bed and hopes it means he’s leaving Genoa City for good, but nope, he’s just off to Paris for a few days. She advises him to pack his bags and scram. She’s had it with him hanging around as a constant reminder of how he’s let Devon down. Tucker’s wondering what’s got her all riled up and if Ashley did something else to push her buttons.
Abby reveals that her mom tried to get Devon to forgive Tucker, and then says that if her mom wants Devon to forgive him, maybe she is considering forgiveness too. She warns him that if he’s really moved on, he should stay far away from them. And if he tries anything, he’ll regret it. She’s lowkey hoping her mom’s cooking up a revenge plot that’ll crush him.
Young and Restless (Y&R) Recap March 7, 2024:
Abby meets up with Devon at the bar in GCAC and tells him all about her chat with Tucker. She literally begs him not to give Tucker another chance. Devon then tells her he’s done with that drama. Just as they’re about to leave, they bump into Ashley, who claims she was grinding at the lab and lost track of time, so she swung by for a bite. She asks them to join her, but they pass.
Abby invites her to roll with them, but she declines. Abby starts to wonder if her mom’s really there for the food or for Tucker. Ashley insists she just needs something to eat. The moment they’re out the door, Ashley texts Tucker that she needs to see him, like, right now.
