Here’s Who Should Heal Taylor’s Broken Heart on Bold and Beautiful

“Have you ever tried sleeping with a broken heart? Well, you could try sleeping in my bed.” Those famous lyrics from Alicia Keys’ 2009 hit “Try Sleeping with a Broken Heart” should be playing on repeat for Taylor Hayes (Rebecca Budig) on The Bold and the Beautiful. If there’s one thing Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) has mastered over the years, it’s breaking Taylor’s heart—and the September 5 episode proves it once again. Ridge flat-out tells Taylor he can’t marry her, leaving fans wondering: How much more can she take? Taylor deserves better. She deserves a new man—and maybe a love story that doesn’t leave her picking up the pieces.

Ridge and Taylor Break Up – What’s Next for Her?

According to The Bold and the Beautiful fall spoilers, Ridge and Taylor’s relationship will face a major test. But will they survive it? At this point—obviously not. This latest heartbreak seems to be the final straw, and it may push Taylor in a new direction with someone else… someone fans will hopefully embrace.

Who Could Be Taylor’s Next Love Interest?

So, who could that someone be? Almost every man in L.A. is taken right now. Except for Dollar Bill Spencer (Don Diamont). Could he be the one? He’s single, he’s bold (no pun intended), and to top it off, it would absolutely make Ridge jealous.

Then there’s Deacon Sharpe (Sean Kanan). Sure, he’s currently married to Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown), but we all know that can’t last forever. Once he learns Sheila’s next big secret (and you know it’s coming), trouble is bound to follow. Fun fact: when Krista Allen was playing Taylor, it really looked like the show was flirting with a Taylor and Deacon pairing. Is it time to revisit that spark?

Another name in the mix is Nick Marone (Jack Wagner), who recently popped back up on the canvas. He and Taylor have history—and he’s not a bad wildcard. But just like every man mentioned so far, there’s one common thread: they all have past (and in some cases, current) ties to Taylor’s longtime rival, Brooke Logan. The same Brooke that Ridge is running back to… for the umpteenth time.

Wildcard Options

There’s also Jack Finnegan (Ted King). He and Li (Naomi Matsuda) aren’t exactly on great terms right now, so there could be an opening there. A Taylor-Jack pairing might be unexpected, but interesting—and it could turn her friendly relationship with Li into more of a frenemy situation, which could be fun to watch.

Of course, there’s always the option to bring someone new into Taylor’s life—or maybe even bring back someone from the past who isn’t tied to Brooke.
