Days of our Lives Recap March 21, 2024: Today on Days of our Lives – Jada pleads with Harris to not destroy his career because of his affair with Ava. Leo tries to come up with his next gossip column. Chad is stunned when a drunk and disheveled Stefan pays him a visit. Paulina and Abe return home to a mini-celebration set up by Johnny and Steve.
Days of our Lives Recap Today March 21, 2024
At The Spectator, Leo is walking around, racking his brain for his next gossip column for the paper when Chad walks in. Leo tells him he couldn’t sleep and was trying to figure out what Lady Whistleblower’s next column should be.
Leo wants to do a piece on Clyde, but Chad’s not having it. He reminds him that guy’s the one who killed his wife, and now his kids are getting teased at school because of him being on the loose.
Chad admits he’s still hurting and hopes they catch Clyde before he hurts someone else. Leo apologizes for even bringing up Clyde’s name.
Then Chad suggests that since Everett is out, Leo can do some actual reporting. He mentions something about Paulina being the mayor and pulling off a miracle, which could be a story. But Leo reminds that Paulina fired him and may not be a member of his fan club. He figures she might have forgotten about it, so he’ll cover her release and miracle. Leo takes off, and Chad flashes back to sitting and chatting by Abigail’s graveside.

A tipsy Stefan shows up, wanting to grab a drink with his brother, even though it’s just 8 in the morning. Chad declines the offer, concerned about what’s going on with Stefan.
He starts asking questions, and Stefan opens up about some heavy regrets that are weighing on him. He mentions feeling sorry about what happened with Abigail and expresses frustration that the person responsible for her death is on the loose.
Stefan notes he had nothing to do with Clyde’s escape. Chad is confused and suggests they talk later when Stefan is sober, but
Stefan insists he’s clear-headed and needs to face the consequences, like making the right chess moves. He thanks his bro for listening and says he finds inspiration in him, calling him a great brother.

Abe gives a big thank you to Steve and Kayla for letting him crash at their place. He’s over the moon to finally head back to his amazing wife. And speaking of his wife, Kayla mentions she needs to swing by the hospital to get her discharged. As Abe leaves, he grabs a box on his way out, while Kayla heads over to the hospital.
Chanel walks into the hospital and sees Paulina all dolled up, ready to get out. Paulina’s fretting about her hair and makeup, but Chanel assures her she looks fabulous.
Scott Evans Make Cameo Appearance!
Paulina apologizes for all the trouble her illness caused, but Chanel brushes it off. They chat about miracles, with Paulina mentioning someone watching over Abe. Chanel’s baffled, but Paulina explains how the universe can surprise you.
Abe and Kayla show up with a wheelchair to take Paulina home, but they get ambushed by reporters on the way out (Scott Evans make cameo as a reporter). Paulina gives a quick statement and heads home, but Leo’s still determined to get the full story.
A Mini-Celebration!
So, Steve shows up with the boxes and him and Johnny start chatting about how Paulina got a miracle and Abe’s amnesia is gone. They’re just thrilled that the two are back to their old selves.
Then Johnny brings up Tripp and Wendy being rescued and wonders who helped Clyde break out of jail. Later, the place is all decked out with balloons and ready for a little shindig when Paulina and the crew walk in, all smiles.
Leo comes in with flowers and tells Paulina he needs an interview for the paper, but it’s not a gossip column. He raves about her and she promises him 10 minutes because he’s one heck of a writer and that piece he did on the Horton house was really touching.
After that, everyone showers Paulina with praise and kind words.

Harris shows up at the station, looking for Rafe. Jada informs him that Rafe headed to Statesville to figure out how the hell Clyde Weston managed to escape. She thinks Harris should be at home resting, but he insists that with the monster on the loose, it’s driving him crazy.
Jada notes that she has been keeping tabs on him and he hasn’t ben at The Pub at all, where he should’ve been staying. She thinks he’s been with Ava and advises him not to mess up his career for her. Harris appreciates that she cares but claims he knows what he’s doing and that Ava is a good woman.

Jada brings up the code of conduct, but Harris calls her out for hyping on him for something she’s also done. Jada reminds him that she arrested her sister when she had to, so maybe she bent the rules, but he’s straight up breaking them.
Stefan shows up at the station and says he’s ready to turn himself in. He tells Jada and Harris that he was pushing drugs through The Bistro for Clyde. Jada wonders if he’s also admitting that Ava was involved, but he insists he was flying solo. When Ava found out, he warned her to keep quiet or face serious consequences. Stefan wants them to call his brother because he’s ready to make a deal.
