Vision Films Inc. (“Vision”) is set to release the feature-length psychological thriller Beneath The Light on Transactional VOD across North America on October 14, 2025. The film, written and directed by John Baumgartner, will also debut on the same day in the UK. Co-written and produced by Dr. Cindy Davis Seng, a psychiatrist at the Cleveland Clinic, the movie was filmed entirely on location in and around Lorain, Ohio—including the town’s iconic 108-year-old Lorain Lighthouse on Lake Erie. The film had its red-carpet premiere at The Palace Theater in Lorain on September 6 and has already inspired both a murder mystery game and a novelization.
An isolated, haunted lighthouse—accessible only by boat—becomes the setting for a chilling psychological battle in Beneath The Light. A young man (played by Zach Tinker) accepts a job repairing the aging structure, but when its surly owner abruptly leaves him alone, the eerie silence begins to close in. As his isolation deepens, unease turns to dread, and he’s forced to confront the ghosts of his past—both real and imagined—before he loses his grip on reality for good.

The upcoming psychological thriller Beneath The Light stars Zach Tinker (The Quarry, Days of Our Lives, The Young and the Restless), John Pyper-Ferguson (Suits), Ana Nicolle Chavez (The Rookie), Kieran Sitawi (The Starling Girl), and Jennifer Ruth (Spotlight).
